Prayer salts / Sewasho

Sewasho or prayer salts are used for:

• healing different illnesses
• cleansing one from evil or negative energy
• protection
• cleansing the aura.

Used for yourself:

You will add a little to your bath, mixed with your shower gel or you wash with it to get rid of unwanted energy.

For others:

Prayer salts are traditionally used to put in a tub or container of water.
You pray to bless this water with the healing you wish to send.
The water is then given or sent to the person you ask healing for. The person will then wash or washed with this water to receive the healing from God.
It is like creating holy water and the person will choose the colour it feels should be added to the water or use a mix of colours.

These salts are typically used by Isithunywa in the african tradition.
