Chela Umuzi / Foka Motse Muthi is used to remove negative energy from your house, car or yard.

How to Use

The effectiveness of Chela Umuzi depends on performing the ritual at the correct time, usually at sunset or very early dawn.

• Sprinkling (Ukuchela): Mix the powder or liquid with water in a clean bucket. Use a branch or your hand to flick the water along the fence line, gates, and doorways of the house.
• Burial (Ukubethela): For permanent protection, a healer may mix the muthi with wooden pegs. You bury these pegs at the four corners of your yard.
• Doorway Wash: Add the muthi to your mop water. Wash the entrances to ensure that anyone entering with bad intentions “leaves” their negativity outside.
• Burning (Ukushunqisa): You can burn the dry muthi on hot coals. Carry the coal brazier (imbawula) through every room so the smoke can clear out stagnant energy.
